  Pros

  Up to now,I think this is the best I've ever seen 3D controls.This 3D ActiveX even support boolean operation,sweep,pipe,prism,shell,regsions,push/pull,print, etc... and runs fast.It's a complete CAD system. Other,the installation package includes a fun game, my son loves. I was wondering if this control is to write a game? If yes, it would be great.

  Importing and Exporting STEP files. Ability to explode solid model down to basic primitives, Lines, Arcs, B-Splines etc Uses OpenGL for displaying.

  No online bug list, or bug submission. No online forum. Help is getting better but still needs work. Resizing the control in Delphi does not work well.

  Summary

  Overall this product is nearly there. I have managed to create a program that allows the design of box and tube for a Tube Cutting machine. I create the parts and unroll them, and create NC data for the machine. The 3D rendering engine could be improved to allow for materials, lights etc. You can import an STL file but you cannot access its data. I have found workarounds for the following bugs and missing functionality... The control does not correctly resize in a Delphi form( I do not know if this is the same for other compilers). No Interpolation of B-Splines/Nurbs/Arcs/Circles/Lines/ellipses. B-Spline information returned will not tell you if part is sliced. The Join command can fail (when certain data is present).<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 16, 2014<p/>This product has matured well since I last looked at it. A great way of dropping bespoke CAD functionality into a program.
