• I would not install this program

  Pros

  it looked easy to use. But I dont know if it worked as I uninstalled it.

  Cons

  This program automatically installed tons of malware on my PC upon install.. and there was no option to bypass that.I uninstalled it immediately after noticing what it installed without my permission.

  Pros

  Easy to use. Variety of choices as to what is extracted - specific values/text found in any cell location or any value from specific cell(s)/locations. Allows the loading of all files from a folder, or multiple individual files. Extracts, if you choose FULL VERSION lets you to export the extracted data to a csv (comma separated values) file that can then be opened into a spreadsheet (Excel for example) for analysis. If looking for proper formatting/sorting in a large number of files, this report makes it easy to see which, if any, files are not in compliance with those restrictions.

  Cons

  None that I have found and I used the free version for several years.

  Summary

  I/my company use this program to 'pre-edit' hundreds of files (close to 600 workbooks with multiple worksheets) WITHOUT having to open each one and tab through each worksheet. Has saved HOURS and HOURS of time!
