• Good reader but not perfect

  Pros

  Not overbloated with too many features. PDFs open nice and clear, while scrolling is good. I especially liked that you can customise the toolbar by dragging icons on and off and changing their positions, much the same as you can with FireFox browser.

  Cons

  For me the UI perpetually opened in one corner of my screen where I couldn't see the maximise or close buttons, so I always had to drag it to the centre. Nothing I tried would cure this behaviour. You are supposed to be able to save your preferred settings, but the 100% zoom I wanted always reverted to 70% on the next use. I could get it to open with the pdf on full width of screen, but that was not really what I wanted. Finally, the app took an eternity to open really big PDFs such as a 400 page journal.

  Summary

  After persevering with it for a couple of days I couldn't put up with it any longer, it had to go.

  Pros

  Fast Smaller footprint than Adobe Reader (which takes over 100megs) Doesn't constantly update like Reader

  None that I know of

  Summary

  If you want a smaller faster PDF Reader with some nice functional enhancements, try this. It's open source - supported by a host of international programmers. It's really good. You might want to search for the projects homepage.
