Eventbrite is a Web-based application for managing event registration. The site covers all aspects related to promoting and putting on an event, from setting details such as event descriptions and ticket prices to creating a Web page that your attendees visit to purchase tickets and register. The service also offers tools for publicizing the event, such as integrated affiliate programs and a Web ad builder.

Eventbrite is most obviously aimed at businesses and organizations, charging a fee of 2.5 percent of ticket prices for any paid events, and allowing for easy online purchasing. It can also come in handy for individuals, too, and you won't be charged a dime for free events. Plus, the site is clean and straightforward enough for pretty much anyone with Web browsing experience to figure out. Still, Evite is the obvious choice for personal event planning.

Not customisable. You're stuck with an amateur layout
orange1234February 9, 2012
Pros
Has most of the functions you need IF you used this.
Cons
You can't customise the layout other then choosing font and background colours. So there is no way to properly make it look like your web page. The Titles are not customisable either so if you are running classes or courses then you are still selling "Tickets" rather "booking a place" The ticket dates are only available on a drop down menu which is easy to miss. It's a shame the tickets are not listed like products you can see what's on offer. Free if you don't accept payments but 75p per transaction plus paypals fees on top, makes this a paid software and I would frankly like to see MUCH more functionality and professionalism and customisation from something that is going to cost you thousands of pounds a year in fees if you run say...puppy classes with 100's of people passing though each month. The on-line help files are limited too, with only an option to like the answer given rather than an option for feedback of what they still haven't explained.
Summary
If you don't care much what your site looks like and don't need detail customisation then give it a try. If you want a nicely customisable, professional looking integrated software then this one is lacking.
