• Waste of time...

  Cons

  This game would be fun if players weren't allowed to PK/Loot multiple times in minutes. Admins do not do their jobs, but instead join in on the PKing/harrassment. The game itself is great, but the older players aren't accepting of newer players and deliberately run them off. <p> <p>Practically the entire game has been ripped off from other games... sprites, tiles, etc. They even admit this on their website.

  Pros

  I liked the layout of the menus. <p> <p>There were a lot of monsters to kill. <p> <p>Once you figure out the keys it's easy to use. CTRL to attack. ENTER to pick up gold. <p> <p>If you die you can just go right back into the action.

  Cons

  The graphics. The enemy's blend in with the background. <p> <p>The controls aren't clearly defined. It tells you when you log in. However I missed it the first time because I was busy learning the keys. <p> <p>It dosen't tell you how long it takes you to level up. I kept killing enemy's and I never leveled up. <p> <p>It seemed so cluddered and confusing. I couldn't interact with any of the shops/inns. <p> <p>There was no storyline. You just kill the monsters because their there. If there isn't some reason to level up there is no purpose to doing it. You start the game at a castle, however it doesn't tell you why your there or what to do next. <p> <p>This game has potental to be a good online 2D RPG. It needs a clear quest, more easy to see monsters, a storyline, and most importantly a newbie training area.

  Pros

  Eternal Mercenaries is a 2D Self Coded and Customized by the Administrative staff. The staff is always up for suggestions to help progress the game, and make it funner for all. Limits have been set so that certian rules can't be broken. The community is great, friendly and nice. Players are willing to help new comers with the basics of getting start, and the administrators work to release a Client update at least once a month, with bug fixes and newly added goodies.

  Cons

  Like all online games, eventually the constant killing of players that can't fight back gets anoying, but isnt something to worry about, since it can't fixed, unless killing is eliminated from the game, which is no fun.

  none that I know of I downloaded it several days ago and the servers have been down the whole time

  like I said The servers have been down every time I have tried to log on. I'll let you know how easy it is to uninstall.

  + Great Community - There are always at least 10 players on during the day and many active administrators. <p> <p>+ Great Software - This software is always being updated, thus the game is never old. Every month (or less) is an update that adds to the gameplay. <p> <p>+ This game never gets boring. There are tons of quests, items, spells, classes, and much more as you play. <p> <p>+ You can do whatever you want. Level up, do quests, kill other people, kill monsters; the possibilities are endless. <p> <p>+ Overall great, addicting and enteraining game.

  Pros

  Eternal Mercenaries is an online 2D RPG with an average of 10 players on at all times, and nearly 20 on during peak times. The game is fantasy based; swords and spells, knights and wizards, and a large contingent of agressive monsters are included. Things that interest me on this game over other similar games are the large number of mazes and thinking-person's puzzles in the quests; a heavy emphasis on player-vs-player (hence the word Mercenaries in the title) with limits, in order to keep lower level players from getting totally destroyed; and friendly, experience, and approachable administrators. The server and client software is also heavily customized, and suggestions for improvements are accepted from players.

  Cons

  As with any community based game, there are some people who you may not like or agree with. The player-vs-player nature of the game at times becomes difficult to deal with.
