ERgent is an app that uses your GPS location and combines it with our Door to Doctor algorithm to help you locate the hospital with not only the shortest average wait time to see a physician, but also the quality of care and hospitals specialties. No one wants to sit in an emergency department waiting room, especially when theyre in the middle of their own emergency. ERgent locates hospitals with the best average wait times and factors in Medicare-reported scores in pain control, chest pain symptoms, and neurologic symptoms. Heres how ERgent works:

Closest Emergency Room - Looking for the nearest hospital? This option will use your GPS location to provide you with a list of the closest hospitals nearby, so you can find care, fast.

Shortest Average Wait - Worried about the wait? Use this option to locate emergency departments with the shortest average wait times. This isn't simply how long it takes to get from the waiting area to a room - it's historical data for how long, on average, a patient would wait from signing in to seeing a healthcare provider.

ERgents Recommendation Our Door to Doctor algorithm uses your GPS location to offer the hospital with a combination of the best average wait time and highest quality of care. We give you a few others in the area, too, just so you can see all the options.
