It then uses Connected Signals' proprietary technology to predict when that light will change. If it can predict, it tells them. Then, just before the light turns green, a chime warns the driver to get ready.EnLighten currently works in selected cities which can be seen at: http://connectedsignals.com/cities.php More cities are being added as quickly as possible.Knowing how much time is available can keep drivers from starting distracting tasks shortly before a light changes and they need to drive. The chime that sounds shortly before the light changes also helps avoid situations where a car darts into an intersection after being honked at by another driver.Please be aware that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
