The EMC Smarts Mobile application is used to view and interact with a subset of the information that is available in the EMC Smarts Console. It is available on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices running iOS 5.0 and greater. An EMC Smarts console server version 9.2 is required. If an EMC Network Configuration Manager or an EMC Watch4Net server are configured then related data from these products can also be viewed in the EMC Smarts Mobile application. The application has two sections.Group HealthContains aggregate impact information for groups defined in a presentation EMC Smarts Service Assurance Manager server. Users can traverse the group hierarchy and can view notifications for a selected group member. Notification LogIn this section of the application users may view notification logs that they have configured on their device. A notification log configuration includes a title and a maximum number of records to retrieve from the server. Users may optionally define sort and filter criteria for the log as well. Users may take action on a notification. They can acknowledge or unacknowledge notifications and can also send an email that includes notification details and a hyperlink to the EMC Smarts Console.
