  This inexpensive countdown /with alarm, is far superior to some of the fancy 'flash' ones avail. It does the job, and well.. if you want pretty.. look elsewhere.. but do try this. for eight bucks, for whatever you don't want to miss .. this is great.

  There are no viruses in Egg. Pretty obvious when you consider that Egg is smaller than most viruses...

  As soon as I downloaded this prog, my Norton AV soon discovered 2 viruses. Not a bad prog, could do with some extra features, but not worth the viruses that go with it.

• The seconds are correct, but it's slow!

  To the previous comment, there are 60 seconds on the programme, starting from 59 down to 00. If counting 00 as 60, it is perfect. However, if counting 60 down to 00 and then 60 again, one'll find it has one more second than needed. However, the seconds are off--sometimes fast, sometimes slow--approximately 1 second slower than usual.

  The makers are a second off per minute. Yes, this software is designed with a 59 second minute. Check it out. Before deleting.

• Small display countdown time is unreadable.

  There is no way I could find to adjust the small display to show the count down timer. The large display is full screen, so it is impoosible to use the timer while working on something else.

  No frills, no problems. Among other stopwatch features there is a repeating countdown timer with an audio cue. That was exactly what I was searching for. A big screen display of the time would be a great addition.
