EasyNote for Windows

EasyNote lets you create and store text entries, but in some cases it offers fewer features than the Windows Notepad program it's designed to replace.

The program's system tray icon allows quick and easy access to notes. EasyNote opens in a fixed window with simple navigational buttons to easily browse entries. You can customize the background color of notes but not the font.

A search tool is included, though EasyNote doesn't have a find-and-replace feature. No printing options are offered. Unlike similar programs, EasyNote saves your entries in XML format only, which consumes a lot of disk space compared to a text file.

Although offered free of charge, EasyNote is a pretty weak entry in a category rich with options.
