File Copier is a program which can copy multiple files and detect corrupt ones by filling unreadable blocks with p.e. binary zeros. Besides various search options files and whole folders can be excluded deliberately, enabling the program to create backups.

Features: Recursive file search with the possibility to exlude folders without access permissions; Filtering of files to be copied by: a combination of preconfigured filters, file-based exclusion, folder- and subfolder-based exclusion, regular expressions; Possibility to copy file and folder permissions; Possibility to copy all files into the target directory (without subfolders); Different fill algorithms for corrupt blocks; Configurable block size adaption to adapt accuracy/speed; Multi threading for file search, filtering and the copy process for a responsive GUI; and Folders can be dragged directly into the program window from Windows Explorer using drag & drop.

This product is small, fast and dead simple to use.
Cons
Can't name the taget directory. Doesn't have a scheduler or a CD/DVD burner.
Summary
This product is small, fast and dead simple to use. Simplicity is this product's strength. The user interface is similar (but more flexible) than a wizard. File copy jobs that would normally take many operations can be done with one operation. Advanced file masking and selection critiria allow you to get the files you want and leave behind the files you don't want. Browse to choose source and target locations. The user interface show number of files and size in the copy source as selections criteria is being applied. Nice pre-defined exception handling allows unattended copy of large jobs. Status bars show copy progress. You can even pause. It has an error log. I haven't seen an error yet, but this will be handy if an intended file is left behind. Although the product is not designed to be a backup tool, it would be a good one if it only had a scheduler, a date incrementer.
