Excellent for those using BIAS Peak Pro in the past

Pros
Very flexible workflow, built in declicker is incredibly effective for restoring vinyl records. Very easy to create playlists, EFX can be added at the file level or at the playlist level. It also sounds incredible, very noticeable improvement over BIAS in this regard. Complete AU/VST plug in support, and can burn red book spec CD's. This is very important for me as I send masters to dupe houses and I don't need to use a 3rd party app like Toast. Very easy to manage regions and markers, unlimited non-destructive editing too. The tech support is second to none, this is the best available today without reservation! Fully Yosemite compatible too!!! Can also now create keyboard shortcuts!!
Cons
Some windows can't be resized, can be a bit small to read, but with OS X you can get around this easily with settings in the accessibility pane.
Summary
I've used BIAS Peak Pro 7XT, Amadeus Pro, Audacity, Sound Studio and Garage Band in the past. This is the Holy Grail, and it's a steal at $99.00. Also , if a former BIAS Peak user, they make it available for $49.00. You won't regret this!
Easy and powerful, stable and fast!

Pros
I liked the simplicity, but features I find in other mastering applications are missing. If I used the product at all if would be as a final step before burning a master.
Cons
To pinpoint a start and draw (drag) it back to a new start point is not an option. In and out points are not as good as splitting and dragging to a new point in the song to eliminate a section cleanly.
Summary
Further use would allow a fairer judgment. There were many I like, but I was fully happy with easy editing. It would appear I would have to be happy with my recording and have pre-fixed it. Again it wouldn't be fair in a one setting use to say the product has little value for the buck. I would have like to find more accessible and user-friendly editing features like gate, compression, eq, with many common plug-ins. The fact that I couldn't split the file was the most disappointing feature.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This is one of those "hidden gems" that is less popular than other programs but is as good as or better than them in many, many ways, and is MUCH less expensive. Comparing this to many of the shareware programs isn't fair because most of them are just toys or stripped-down programs that are OK for occasional and strictly-amateur use. DSP-Quattro plays with the big boys. And, amazingly, DSP-Quattro is just about the only program that correctly draws a waveform! Seriously--try zooming in and out on any waveform (for maximum fun, use a sine wave) using, say, Peak, and watch how the frequency apparently changes depending on zoom level! This is just one of many, many things that DSP-Quattro gets right. Highly recommended.
Excellent!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This is one fine piece of audio software. I've tried many of the commercial ones and the shareware ones and this is easily my favorite. It's cheaper than most of the commercial products (and better), and although it's expensive compared with some of the shareware, it is definately worth it. It is stable (unlike Sound Studio) and easy to use and well thought out. The basic controls are easily accessable with the more complex stuff out of the way yet also easily accessable. The only minor grip is that ugly OS 8-ish icon. Perhaps a new aqua-ish icon might not hurt. I highly recommend this app for anyone at any level of use.
Beautifully done!
