Excellent data profiling tool with exceptional support

Pros
It's Free! It's Real Easy to install - no Admin rights needed on the PC Easy to get started profiling data - 10 minutes from download to finished my first profile - very intuitive! Top Database management systems supported: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server Most of the standard profiling metrics and metadata are generated out of the box. Great video tutorials and online support are provided
Cons
Most difficult thing encountered so far was getting the database connection parameters entered correctly. That could be partly due to our complex environment.
Summary
DQ Analyzer is amazing! It provided 90% of the data profiling information I needed out of the box. I easily added The other 10% by using the built in expression templates and defining a couple of customized business rules.
