DoctorUna launched in the United Arab Emirates in 2012, Egypt and Jordan in 2013 and recently in Kuwait in 2014. The purpose of DoctorUna is to allow patients to quickly search for doctors from across a broad range of specialties, compare them and easily book a convenient appointment.DoctorUna gives doctors access to a larger pool of patients, streamlines and better manages their appointment booking process so they can spend more time caring for patients. Reem Haj Ali brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She was appointed the Director of Rehabilitation Services at the American Hospital Dubai for 11 years.

Along with extensive experience in Quality and Performance Improvement, Reem successfully participated in two Joint Commission International Accreditations and led the coordination effort in developing the Zimmer Joint Replacement Centre of Excellence. She then moved to work on other healthcare projects in the UAE, amongst them, the establishment of the Medical Rehabilitation Department in the Saudi German Hospital in Dubai
