Developer’s Description

Display and record SysLog received messages.
This application listens for data (UDP datagrams) on port 514. The port 514 is the standard port for SysLog messages. For example a router may be configured to send SysLog messages to a specific computer. The computer IP adddress is specified on the router's configuration web page. Once this program is started in that computer it will show any SysLog messages received from router. This program may write in a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file all received messages (see Options dialog). Hence with this program the router activity can be recorded into alog file. Warning: Since this program listens to port 514 you may receive a warning from your firewall when you start DmSysLog.exe. When asked, you have to set your firewall program to allow this program to listen to port 514.
