Direct Strikes for Android

Direct Strikes is an innovative sports application designed for soccer players and coaches, providing actionable insights through AI technology. This Android app utilizes smartphone video to analyze ball velocity and striking mechanics, converting practice footage into quantifiable metrics. Key features include real-time ball detection, session storage, cloud processing, and optional public leaderboards, catering to solo practitioners and competitive athletes seeking data-driven feedback without the need for specialized hardware.

The app processes uploaded videos to return detailed performance metrics, allowing users to review their striking techniques effectively. With a focus on cloud-based analysis, users must upload their clips for processing and can store their sessions for later review. While the app supports individual progress tracking and offers social comparison through leaderboards, it requires an internet connection for functionality and places some advanced features behind a credit-based system.
