Key Details of DigiMode AutoSurfer
Editors' Review
For those who visit the same sites every day, this freeware tool creates a time-saving, automated slide show, but it does require installation of an Internet Explorer toolbar first.
DigiMode AutoSurfer's interface looks like an outdated computer panel. While the numerous buttons might appear confusing at first, the familiar navigation controls and a one-page Help file will ease the learning curve. The program doesn't require installation, but the first time you run the executable file, you'll be prompted to install the DigiMode Toolbar before you can use DigiMode AutoSurfer. The process is fairly simple, requiring you to add URLs with a click of a button. You can save up to nine URLs in each list, and you can create as many lists as you like. If you've used a VCR or DVD player, the Start, Forward, Stop, and other controls will be immediately familiar. Lists are easily saved in a proprietary format in the directory of your choosing. You also will be able to indicate the interval each page stays up in the built-in browser, beginning at 0.5 second.
There's no charge for this freeware tool, but as noted, you will have to install the free toolbar first. Any user who regularly visits the same sites should give DigiMode AutoSurfer a shot.
