  Been playing since I was little. Always loved it, and I am still crazy about it. I can stop playing, come back to it several hours/day/years later, and pick it right back up and love it all the same.

  I don't know, it never played.

  Cons

  Had to download third party/extra software to make it play on my computer. That software refused to load, refused to find DLL's and all sorts of junk. So I never got to install the game.

  Summary

  Too much hassle to play this game. Too many circular reinstalls and errors to make it worth the time.

  Like a good wine Emerald Mine only gets better. The feeling of getting through a level for the first time is like watching your team win the Cup. The sly smurk of satisfaction when you find out where those valuable emeralds have been hiding. life can now, only get better. Bring on more level please,please,please.

  Where are the other 20 or 30 hard levels from the original Emerald Mine I had on a 1.4.floppy disc. I used to play on my old Commadore Amiga 1000. From what I can remember, the time given on the levels I have downloaded seems way more than I remember. <p>The earlier copy of Emerald mine had about 80 levels and was split into sections of 10 or so. Each section had different backdrops and varied the bad guys. Finding the emeralds was made harder by having to remember the maze type route to take to get through the blue door. This was harder as Emeralds had to be colected at the same time. There were levels that it was not possible to get through in one go because you didn't realise until you got near to the end of the level that you should have taken a different route or picked up something extra to finish. But, you coulldn't now because you had let rocks block your path back. In order to put things right I had to restart the level again and try to remember the new route, pick up the missed item (it could be a key I needed to get out of the mine)and still remember the route to get through the cave. All in a very tight time frame. Oh! happy days and nights spent breaking joysticks in frustration. <p>Thats why I say, " If anyone has the last 20 or so levels, can they please make them available on the web site or let me know where I can find them or buy them. It would make a grumpy old arthritic MINER very happy. My wife would be forever grateful as she would have some quiet timein the garden on her own. <p>Well! That's that diatribe of my chest. A lot of people can rest easy in there beds to-night. <p>Bye the way happy MINING. <p> <p>Thanks
