DesInstaller is more than a GUI over some removal procedures: you can generate a reinstaller for the files, even if you have modified them, making a powerful software spreader for your network, or you can just get rid of these files you installed some day and you do not remember exactly how many items there are or where they were installed. Or you can just list what is installed on your system. Now you can manage packages outisde the system receipts, a real package or a special receipts. There is now a new interface and a batch queue!Please report bugs

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />DON'T!!! I really mean it. I just used this for removing a package and it trashed my /usr/bin directory and some other system components! This application is dangerous.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I have been using this product for over a year throughout the versions and have never had serious issues. As in any free program I don't expect it to be perfect but it definitely does what it is supposed to do.
