I edit my document under Word for Mac. And it is corrupt suddenly. I tried a lot of methods but all failed. This tool helps to recover the document successfully.

I write my report for several days. Yesterday I suddently cannot open the report with Word any more. Then I find this tool in Microsoft Word Help document. I use the tool and it assists me to recover most parts of the document.

If it were free, then it will be better.

Pros
I write a thesis for about one month. Yesterday when I try to open the file, I suddenly get file is corruption error. I try to search online and try several tools but all of them do not work. Finally I find this one and it works perfectly. It helps me recover nearly everything in the doc, including formatting, tables, hyperlinks, etc.

It seems the shadow of the fonts are not recovered
