Data Manager is an original job tracking software created for my a machine shop to track work in progress. You can define tasks to do, give them default time limit to be completed, and then track hours claimed against that task. Several people can work simultaneously on one or more tasks. All information is stored, then provided in a simple format for future re-assignment.
