Pros
Makes it easy to play old games that win 7 wont allow you to.
Cons
Not all games are automatically properly recogonized. You gotta remember some basic dos commands to repair the default installation.
Summary
Really glad I found this gui/frontend. The alternative would have been to create shortcuts individually linking every program/game that I wanted to run with my installed version of dosbox.

I purchased an old game on CD. I installed d-fend to play it on my win 8.1 and got an error from d-fend saying my game was a windows game and it wouldnt take it...frustrating, and no help support on d-fend...no thanks...
