This simple Clipboard utility lets you copy filenames to the Windows Clipboard. Copy2Clip comes in a ZIP file with installation directions in a text document. Simply right-click the cpy2clip.inf file and select install. The program doesn't offer an interface; instead you'll find an option to Copy Names to clip under the Send To right-click menu. The file name can be copied into any program. Press the control key when you choose Copy2Clip and you can add, edit, or assign a format to copied filenames, which is useful for batch files. This small utility is free for any user looking for an alternative to capture the full name and path of files.

Pros
Copy and paste your musical cd titles, make a database or a spreadsheet and be the real owner of your disc collection!. Organize a librery is quite simple too.
Cons
Everybody would like the particularfeature to simplify its work. But, integration of all particular features don't produce a simple program. I miss a feature to erase whole path and presnt only the file name.
Summary
Great tool.

Summary
Makes it easy to copy filenames and paths out of the file explorer that you can paste into any email, excel spreadsheet, etc.
Uses the "Send TO" fight click function to list the clipboard. Users can customize what gets copies by holding the control key. Advanced view is feature rich, but complex, but I was able to figure it out.
Hats off to this programmer for making such a great free utility!
Copy file names, full path included, to the Clipboard.Copy2Clip is inspired by Microsoft PowerToy SendToX. It adds ability to copy file name(s) to clipboard. Simply select file names to copy and click on item 'Copy Names to clip' inside SendTo context menu. Holding down control key while sending file names it's possible to choose how to format filenames. For example you can extract only directory names to use inside a batch. You can format path name to Unix format or what you want.
