The interface is a little confusing because it's not clear that it will compare files and only copy if it's changed. Even though the name of the program and the description indicate that, the interface options make you wonder if it will only compare to a given date. Turns out that's just a separate option, which is fine. The real issue, though, is that it ONLY copies files that exist in both the source and the destination. I tested with 3 files in the source folder and 2 of them in the destination. The one that I changed in the source got copied. The one I did not change did not get copied and the one that did not exist in the destination did not get copied! This means that every time I want to do this manual backup, I would have to first do some other copy and tell it not to copy files that already exist and then run this program to get the rest... Would love to know if I'm missing something b/c this behavior is pretty odd. Maybe I'll just write a script.
