Cookie Pal is an Internet cookie manager that helps protect your privacy on the Internet. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your system by the Web sites you visit. Cookie Pal remembers your preferences and blocks cookies from all Web sites or just those that you tell it to. It can work transparently or in an interactive mode, allowing you to decide how to handle cookies in real-time as you view Web sites. You can set up filters to block or allow cookies based on when they expire. A complete report is provided showing the cookies that were blocked or allowed in each session along with statistics. You can also view and delete cookies that are already on your system. Cookie Pal can start automatically when you start your Web browser so you do not need to leave it running all the time or remember to start it yourself. Cookie Pal works with Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, and AOL, as well as programs such as Outlook Express, Media Player, Neoplanet, and most other programs and Web browsers. Cookie Pal makes it simple to take control of the cookies that are accepted by and stored on your system.

Has been an excellent cookie manager for many years. Liked it so much I bought it... BUT...
Cons
Cookie Pal has gotten lazy. They haven't updated the program to support Firefox and when I asked them about it many, many months ago (maybe over a year now that I think about it) they said they were working on it. Well, where's the beef?

If you're in the market for a simple yet effective "set it and forget it" cookie manager, CookiePal is a great choice! The GUI is simple enough for a novice to master in a matter of a few minutes. I'd like to see a right click option for "accept as session only" which would simplify the process of accepting cookies on a short or 0ne-time time basis. Other than that I give it an enthusiastic Thumbs Up!

Gets rid of most of if not all your cookies. Before i had cookies everywhere now i see maybe only 1 or 2. Also you can set it to make a noise when a cookie is accepted which could amuse you with the selection it has.

I never knew so many cookies were sent to me from the internet. I have learned a valuable lesson that I will not forget. Having the option of accepting or deleting has been wonderful. This software is a keeper and anyone that say different is just full of a lot of bull. :)

This product was pretty good when it first came out, but it's essentially the same thing it was five years ago. It doesn't work well with IE 6, Mozilla or the new Opera for that matter. Unfortunately, I have to look for something else that keeps up with the times.

Cookie Pal works great with IE but does not work with Netscape 6 or 7 and causes weird problems with Opera 7. I used this for many years when it worked with all 3 browsers but they haven't kept up with new versions

anyone who's concerned about being tracked or personal surfing habits info being sold to third parties would be delighted to delete the unwanted cookies with cookie pal, the good part is you can choose to keep the good cookies which enable you to return & log on to your favorite sites easier, i'm currently using cookie pal version 1.7a

After evaluating several similar products, I settled on Cookie Pal. The interface is the nicest and easiest to navigate, it has the most comprehensive set of features (without spreading beyond their core competency - I don't need an app that does 5 different things, just a good cookie manager, thank you), and it's a pleasure to use. The only suggestion I can make for improvement is that it would be nice to see, in the list of cookies stored on my system, a field next to each recognized cookie describing (for the layperson) what that cookie actually does. Does it collect user information, does it track visits, provide login names, or what? There are already fields showing the name and value of the cookies, but these are often incomprehensible to me. I don't know if it's possible to offer a feature like this, but it is the only way I can see to improve on this really great little program.
