Cookie - Make Friends for Android

Cookie - Make Friends is a communication-focused Android application designed for adults seeking to make new friends through text conversations. The app stands out with its browsable list of user profiles, allowing individuals to initiate chats easily. It prioritizes real-time messaging and features in-transit encryption to ensure user privacy. With an emphasis on platonic connections, Cookie is suitable for adults aged 17 and older, providing a lightweight client that functions well across various Android devices.

The app employs a unique discovery model where users can browse curated profiles highlighting interests and hobbies, which facilitates meaningful connections. Initial conversations are encouraged through built-in prompts, allowing users to engage directly without the need for complex algorithms. While Cookie maintains a focus on safety with reporting and blocking tools, user feedback indicates challenges such as the presence of automated accounts and inconsistent interaction quality.
