Cookie Crumble for Windows

It's hard to imagine paying for a program that has fewer options and is less effective than what comes standard with Firefox and Internet Explorer, but that's the expectation with this unimpressive cookie manager. Cookie Crumble's simplistic interface has only three options. There isn't a Help file, but even the most inexperienced user shouldn't need one.

Cookie Crumble has two buttons, one to remove cookies from Firefox and one to remove them from Internet Explorer. There's also a field to enter a partial or whole Web address to selectively remove cookies. Despite the simplicity of using it, Cookie Crumble failed to remove all cookies from the Web browsers, although it was successful in removing cookies specific to a Web page. It doesn't offer a way to view cookies from either browser. Both Firefox and IE offer ways to view cookies and delete all or selected entries, so it's not clear what benefits there are in using this program.

The three-day trial is on the short side, but it's still long enough to see that Cookie Crumbles offers less functionality than you already have for free. Skip this program--you're better off with your browser's standard tools.
