Used Computer Analyzer for Windows?
Editors’ Review
There isn't much use to a benchmarking tool that doesn't describe its benchmarks or give users the chance to save results. Those were just the major issues we had with Computer Analyzer. To install this tool, your system must have at least DirectX 9c. The interface is less than attractive. There isn't a manual or help file included in this package.
It's easy to operate Computer Analyzer, though. You merely press Test and watch as various text lines are printed to your screen. Basically, the application lists items your computer supports. Display modes, rendering, buffers, culling, fogging methods, shaders, texture sizes, drawing speeds, and other items are checked. You can't save results to any sort of file. You can't even select results and save to the clipboard. At the end of tests, you click a Calculate Score option to get number. Our test systems received different scores each time they were checked.
While this is freeware, that's no excuse for the problems inherent in this tool. Benchmarks are not explained. There is no method to check common scores based on processor or brand. The final score appears almost random. Don't bother with this tool; it can't tell you anything of use about your PC.
