It would help if the documentation were in English (instead of Russian) because it took me a little while to figure out how to log in to the feed as a client. The program is obviously in beta because the client program has options in its menus that result in errors and the host program crashes on exit every so often. The image quality and size is awfully small, but I think that is largely related to the camera's quality and the connection speeds. I especially liked being able to host the stream locally or on cometeye's site. This is very handy for folks with dynamic IP's. The program may tell you that you can't host it locally if you are behind a NAT box/router, but as long as you can figure out how port forwarding works and set a static local IP for the computer with the camera you can host the stream locally just fine. All criticism aside, this is a great little program that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Kudos the the authors.
Can't ask for more

This is an excellent program for freeware. I've been testing it out for a couple of hours so far and it seems to work great. I can't really complain about possible improvement because it is freeware, but if I was too here are a few downsides:
-Too small of a viewing window during broadcasts.
-No set-up instructions (that I could find).
I would still recommend give this program a shot if you're looking for a simple surveillance device.
I agree this monitoring software is excellent, no problems at all and runs great!

Very simple to use. I have no problems with our corporate firewall system. I just happy to use Comet Eye with my Motorola MPx200 smartphone. And I even buy couple of new cameras especially for my old parent's home.
