Codename: Loop reimagines Gordon Freeman's woes in a trippy temporal loop. Players get a top-down, twin-stick shooter that strangely fits within Half-Life's universe. It's a fun experiment for fans.

  • Pros

    • Unique top-down perspective on the Half-Life universe | Roguelike mode adds replayability | Faithful to Half-Life's aesthetic | It's free, so why not?

  • Cons

    • Short campaign, don't expect a huge time commitment | Top-down gameplay feels a bit weird at first | Twin-stick controls aren't for everyone
