CMDocSafe

CMDocSafe is a document management Web Part that extends the core functionality of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Windows SharePoint Services. CMDocSafe extends the source-control features of SharePoint technologies by implementing a safer, more robust multi-user process for collaborating on documents and other project resources. CMDocSafe extends the collaboration features provided by SharePoint technologies by implementing formalised document workflows. CMDocSafe increases project team member efficiency. It provides: an enhanced graphical user interface for navigating through document libraries; file manipulation functionality that allows users to move or copy files between document folders, and between document libraries; multiple file operations for many of the features that SharePoint technologies normally implements on a file-by-file basis; an undelete facility that allows deleted documents to be recovered.
