Club Penguin is an online multiplayer game where kids can customize their penguins, collect various items, and explore the world of snow.
Pros
Kid-friendly graphics: Club Penguin's graphics are vibrant and scale well, no matter what size browser window you use.
Customization options: You can dress your penguin in unique clothes, deck out your igloo homes, add music, and even raise your own Puffle pets.
Events: There are plenty of online events to participate in, like music jams and kart racing. Each game has its own set of achievements (called stamps), so your kids will enjoy many challenging objectives.
Cons
Occasional glitches: Sometimes your penguin can walk through walls, which makes navigation a bit confusing. The pages occasionally reload without warning or reason, which disrupts the gaming experience. Occasionally we got stuck in pop-up menus without the ability to close them.
Not worth purchasing the paid plan: Club Penguin asks for quite a bit of money for not a lot of game.
Bottom Line
Club Penguin may be safer for kids than other multiplayer games, but its more interesting premium features come at a price. Even with these premium features, however, the game leaves much to be desired.
