• not ready for prime time

  the search bar doesn't load in all google pages even though it's supposed to be your personal google data bridge. let's say you are in google contacts - the search bar does not load there (according to the devs users don't like it there - huh?!?) so you are forced to use the browser tab button - problem is, if you then navigate away from that page, the search results are lost and you'd have to re-enter them when you visit the google contact again. creates more typing than necessary. the solution would be to add back the search bar in every browser tab you open (there already is a button to shrink the bar if you don't want it) but the devs are not interested in giving users more options, or using common sense. too many other user-based issues to address here, but you get the gist of it. it's a great idea that came out half-baked, needs more time in the oven before I'd recommend it to anyone.

  would not recommend until user issues are addressed and fixed and more usability options provided instead of taken away.

  It has got a spotlight search on email along with search-as-you-type which is a great feature of this product.

  I don't find anything cons for CloudMagic, its simply an awesome product.

  Pros

  Its super fast, must admit! Search as you type saves a lot of time. Partial search is really useful.

  Cons

  It doesn't need an explanation if one has used Google Instant. CloudMagic is like Google Instant for Gmail. Saves time with each search. For a person who spends more time in inbox it is godsend! One more feature that I like is that you can refer to other emails while composing a mail without leaving that tab or window.

  Pros

  No need to remember complete spelling of a contact name or keyword for searching. It will bring all the matching contacts and mails for letters typed in search box. It truly works as magic.

  Cons

  No issues till now. So there is nothing to dislike.

  Summary

  Cant use Gmail search after using this. Gmail search looks outdated.
