Wonderfully simple!

- Easy to use! Configurable! Holds up to 1,024 clips! Search clips! Edit clips!
- Cons
- Periodically loses the setting "Run ClipX on Startup." Periodically drops off the System Tray, requiring a reload of ClipX.

Just what I wanted!

- I spend a lot of time copying and pasting from one document or app to another an this saves me a LOT of time. Lots of customization such as being able to remember 1-1024 clipboard entries, purging of images between sessions, carrying clipboards between sessions, customization of multple hotkeys, etc.

- There's a section for plugins but no indication of what they are, what they do, or where to get them.
- Summary
- Simple, clean, and right to the point. No messing about with memory hogging animations and such. Just the way I like it.

- It s an applicattion very old. We need a useful update of this. Very good idea, but have failures very basics. It not remembered the hot keys that you want when reboot windows (sometimes), and the plugin not working when you rebbot the computer sometimes. I need this plugin to uses a list of texts to paste sometimes. Very light software, but in basic things is off. I have to look for other thing

An outstanding utility, but still not ready for Win7

- Crisp, unobtrusive performance. Easy access to clipboard when you need it -- otherwise, invisible.
- Cons
- Running under Windows 7, I find that ClipX often needs to be restarted. When I call up the clipboard display, sometimes it won't close, or leaves an empty white rectangle that remains until I reboot.

Perfect and easy, but don't use it with Solidworks

- Very easy to use program. Does exactly what you expect of it.

- After installing Clipx, Solidworks became instable. I've tried it on a 32 bit and a 64 bit workstation. On both systems Solidworks crashes after installing Clipx. After removing Clipx, Solidworks became stable again.

- It does screen shots which is what i want

- If you want to delete a clip, you have to right click and choose "mamage". You then get a window which lists your clips and alows you to delete them. The problem is that you cant see your clips - just a note that says Bitmap and a size!
