ChordPulse Lite is a free songwriting software to sketch up ideas quickly. Set up a chord progression, select a music style and press play. ChordPulse Lite will play your automatic accompaniment with drums, bass and chords that you will enjoy playing along with. In contrast to mp3 backing tracks, midi files or play along CDs, here you can customize your backing tracks to fit your needs. You can change chords, music style, tempo and key in an instant. ChordPulse Lite is an auto accompaniment program that can be mastered in seconds. You can jam along with a complete automatic arrangement, a drum machine with bass or a metronome with chords. ChordPulse Lite is great for music training, vocal training, practicing, learning, soloing, improvisation and composition. It's a handy songwriting tool: you can try out musical ideas very quickly. ChordPulse Lite features 24 music styles (pop, rock, dance, ballad, jazz, swing, shuffle, Latin, waltz) + 2 metronome styles, 4/4 and 3/4 time signatures, 5 basic chord types (major, minor, augmented, diminished, dominant seventh), slash chords, customizable chord inversions, 36 chord pages to structure your chord progressions, three repeat modes and an independent loop region. The sound levels of the drums, bass and chord sections of the accompaniment can be controlled independently. Adjust the sound mix to your tastes, or turn down tracks completely, thereby creating space for your live instrument. Turn down "Chords" and get a drum machine with bass. Turn down "Drums" and get a bass and chords only accompaniment, so you can practice as a drummer. Or simply use the default volume mix and play along or sing along with the full backing band.
