Part is yahoo and part is cheeta if yahoo would quit changin script so much it might be a bit better. And if cheeta would get on the stick a lot quicker when they do change it and make patches once and a while it would be really great. As of right now no cheeta programs will work and they are suppost to have cheeta 7 comming out in a month or so.

It now is a shareware program. It does not inform you in any way, BEFORE you take the time to download it. It tells you in the TOS and so on, but it does not say anything about being shareware before it is downloaded. The site says that it is a free program yet. So, take notice before you download it you will have to pay 10 dollars to continue using it after 30 days. Could have been more professional about letting people know that they actually decided to make it shareware.

This is, and always has been a very good and easy to use program. It's updated to keep up with the latest Yahoo! changes, but the product support gets worse and worse.

Get this full-featured chat client for Yahoo Chat and iChat.

CheetaChat is a standalone chat client for Windows. It allows you to play WAV files, customize emoticons and macros, save transcripts of your chat sessions in RTF or TXT format, and use backward writing and alternating caps, all within an interface similar to a word processor. CheetaChat also has its own integrated Web browser and features full "smiley" support. Other features include Microsoft Agent technology (to make Yahoo Chat and iChat speak to you), customizable personalities, file-transfer capabilities, a text fader with a graphical color selector, a macro editor with built-in coloring tools and preview capabilities, integrated friends management, support for secured rooms, and a customizable interface.
