This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is my booklet (and multi-signature book) imposition software of choice. It handles bleeds, creep, gutters, and is only limited by the type of printer (and printer settings) you use to output the results. The author even throws in some how-to guidelines for binding your own books!
Elegant, simple and it works!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I just posted a good review for Clickbook, which has many more printing options that this, but almost none of which I use beyond "make a booklet." If I had known that Cheap Imposter was back I don't think I would have bought the (more expensive) Clickbook. Best of all, this one does signatures, which are fantastic for longer documents, or if you happen to binding books from the material you print out. As far as I know, none of the other inexpensive imposition programs can do this. I mostly print scripts and books, and much past 80 pages, a single-signature booklet gets bulky and hard to fold. Glad to see this nice program is available again!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Developer Dylan may have a sense of humor in naming his shareware, but he also has provided a much needed utility for this user. I produce a number of directories which have always been a challenge to print out as a magazine or book. This nifty program works and works well for printing PDF documents in a book/magazine format. And if you have any problems with it, Dylan is very quick to respond and ever so helpful. I have confidence in his shareware, because I have confidence in him. In addition to the excellent software, Dylan has provided a mini-tutorial in do-it-yourself book-binding in his user's guide. I highly recommend Cheap Imposter.
