An AppleScript that allows the user to bypass the OSX System Preferences to change the Startup Disk. Choose between OS 9 and OS X with the click of button. OS 9 Script included. Instructions included inside Original Script on embedding your ADMIN password so as to permanently bypass the dialog box. Deluxe works on multiple partitions/hard drives. This script was featured in David Pogue's Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, 2nd Edition. This script is no longer being developed because of hardware constraints.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Yikes. I too had big trouble with this app. (Using an iMac G4 running OS X 10.2.8). After installing I could not get my iMac to boot at all. Had to reinstall OS from original CD and am now putting everything back together. Not Good!
