  Pros

Very cool concept. Bummed it doesn't work.

  Cons

Is not coded properly to work with 64Bit Operating Systems. "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB4.0 provider is not registered on local machine" error.

  Summary

I followed the website instructions. Saved the files pre-Excel2003 format and it doesn't work. After an hour of research, I tried running in XP compatibility mode, that didn't work. I keep getting a "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB4.0 provider is not registered on local machine" error. From what I found online, this is a code problem with the application. Several MS Tech Site postings all confirm the following: There is no Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 for 64 bit. So, if a program is coded to use "Any CPU". this error occurs. The program has to be coded to specifically call for using 32bit. Hopefully, CFABS reads this, fixes the Merge App, and looks at their other software because they will have the same issue for any programs they have created that try to access Excel or Access Files for 64 bit operating systems.
