Use CeeBot4 to learn or teach Java programming in an attractive non-violent 3D game. CeeBot4 is a complete tutorial and requires no programming skills. If you use CeeBot4 for teaching, you can therefore let your students progress at their own pace. Program various kinds of robots in an object-oriented language similar to Java and let them perform tasks like finding the way out of a labyrinth, car racing, or robot soccer (full version only). Several dozens of exercises provide a smooth pedagogical progression. CeeBot4 includes an integrated editor-compiler-debugger, which allows you to debug your programs in real-time, and a hyperlink help. All exercises contain explicit and illustrated instructions. Separate files describe all exercises, you can easily develop your own exercises to fit your teaching plan, or tests with new tasks for your students.
