Despite its small feautre set and restricted functionality, CD to WAV/MP3 Ripper does what it's supposed to. The application only allows you to extract CD tracks into WAV or MP3 files, neglecting other popular formats such as WMA. Also, unlike most CD-ripping apps we test, this one can't even retrieve the disc information from CD databases. The settings are obviously intended for beginners; all you can choose is the bit rate. Nevertheless, in our tests, the program showed good speed, and the tracks it produced sounded just fine. If you don't want to pay for a ripping program, don't need any fancy feature, and don't mind labeling your tracks by hand, this simple utility may be worth considering.

In a I downloaded this quite a while ago, and I can't really remember exactly what was wrong with the download, but I do remember that I had problems, and I've had several problems trying to make any of these programs work on Windows 7. Apparently, some people are very happy with this program. I had Nero express on my old computer and it too ripped CDs very simply but also without the track names, which have to be put in manually. I really can't say anything bad about this program until I get the chance to actually use it.

Its full of bugs and very hard to use. When it says it has "adware" that means its spyware, which means they are invading your privacy and can see your online activity. They don't just have a few partners but 16! That means you will have 16 annoying programs that you didnt chose to download. If you don't have microsoft antispyware, your screwed. (Microsoft antispyware is available for free at microsoft.com)

Pure junk! the program I thought I was downloading didn't even work. <p>I found over 100 spyware files just from this program alone. <p>Instantly after my download was complete I had pop-up's everywhere asking me to do all kinds of crazy things. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!

Installed ~10 spyware programs, and who knows how many more. To make it even worse, the mp3 ripper didn't even work for me. The interface is poorly designed, non-intuitive, and overall junk.
