Great tool to create database applications!

- Our department had an old Access database that's getting more difficult to maintain every day. We were researching tools to migrate it online and came across Caspio. Pros: Clean user interface, pretty easy to navigate; Customer support is THE BEST: the staff I worked with were all fast in response and very knowledgeable about the product. Helps me out every time! They also have a good amount of video tutorials and articles which I found to be very helpful too.

- Seemingly intuitive interface - particularly if you are familiar with the basic db tools like MS Access or phpMyAdmin.
- Cons
- NO help for those in the initial 14-day evaluation period. Regular Tech Support will only refer you to the sales rep, the sales rep doesn't take calls, return calls, or respond to e-mails if they don't include the words "I want to buy..."
- Summary
- A brilliant idea - something I would buy in a heartbeat (even at the $3,000 / year licensing fee) IF I were confident that I could do what I need to do - but the learning curve is hefty if you can't get answers to questions by phone, e-mail, or in the forum.

- OLD TECHNOLOGY. OLD INTERFACE. You can't create anything good with this product. Company has pricing rigged so you will incur HUGE overage charges. STAY AWAY FROM THiS PRODUCT!!!

- Easy to setup with the wizards. I was able to create web forms and even a sales and product inventory reporting database within minutes. No need for software download, like access or filemaker, or complex software. 30 days free. Cheap afterwards too.

- Would like to create iPhone web forms/apps too. I think they just released that feature, but I haven't used it yet. So i guess this isnt really cons.
