Shrink that DVD to PocketPC, Smartphone 2003, Palm, PSP, Nokia, Symbian. We have put reliability at the forefront in importance, because we know you do not want to spend some four hours compressing a video to then find there is something wrong with it. With CarryDVD you can back up your favorite DVDs and copy them onto your PDA or Pocket PC as well as Smartphone. Some movies can be made to fit into 128MB memory. The nice thing about CarryDVD is that you do not need any special players to view the video. What comes with your PocketPC, Windows Media Player is more than well suited for the job. This product was not intended to circumvent copyright protection but to create inferior copies of personally owned DVDs for private use only on handheld devices.

Version 3.1 supports copying directly to device and added Video File Manager.

Cons
Doesn't decrypt protected DVDs. I have yet to try it on older DVDs, but I imagine any with encryption will be problematic.

I found this product to be great value for money! I have tried some of the others out there and did not find them to have the features this product has. I also found the support quick and friendly. I would highly recommend it!!

The 3.1 version is available on their website, but not on this one. They should update this site with the latest version for customers to try out

Rip Off!!! I paid for this one. Does not work at all. Could not get it to install at first. When I finally got the program to start, it would just lock up. Would not do anything. Buy at your own risk. Tech. support was fast in getting back with me, but called me a liar and was very rude.

I've been trying all sorts of software to convert movies to a Pocket PC playable format. After spending weeks trying to resolve Video/Audio sync'ing problems with a variety of other software, I downloaded this, installed it and set it of running one of my original DVD's. The following morning I work up to a clean, crisp copy of the movie squezed into 140mb. Playback on the standard Pocket PC Media Player was awesome.
Cons
It works fine under Windows XP, but I've been unable to make it work on my Windows 2000 Server machine :-( <p> <p>Not a major problem, it just means I can only encode one DVD at a time.
