CAP Tool is a Windows program for creation of arbitrary waveform generator files. You can include the files in programs for automation or write the files to USB drives for download to benchtop instruments. CAP Tool supports 1) .rdf format for Rigol AWGs 2) binary .arb format for the Rigol DS1104z-s 3) .wfm format for Tektronic / Rigol equipement 4) XY .csv format for certain Agilent / B&K / Tek generators 5) text .arb format for transfer to Agilent 3350 series AWGs 6) .dat format for Syscomp 7) .h files to be included into C / C++ programs 8) .tcl files to be sourced into Tcl programs 9) clipboard to spreadsheet 10) delimited text files and 11) delimited clipboard output. People can use continuous or piecewise time expressions to define arbitrary patterns with CAP Tool.
