- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />In CanoScan toolbox, after clicking the "scan" button, or in Photoshop Elements 2 after I choose Import > ScanGear CS, the driver starts using all available CPU time! Anyone else?

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Installed without a problem. I simply used the supplied un-installer to uninstall the old driver and then installed the new one. This release does support my el cheapo $10 USB 2.0 IOGear PCI card, which made me really happy. Average scan time for a 4x5 color photo cut from 31secs to 21secs. Release notes would have been nice but it seems proper USB 2.0 support seems to be the major new feature.
