This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I hate people who complain about free software, but considering it came as a package with my G3 camera (and was a selling point) I feel I have right to complain.<br><br> I bought a G3 to use with RemoteCapture, only to find that RemoteCapture will only auto-focus on the center of the image -- <br><br> <b>THERE IS NO WAY TO FOCUS MANUALLY OR AUTO-FOCUS OFF-CENTER USING THIS SOFTWARE.</b><br><br> I would have given the software 5 stars, but considering it won't focus (and all attempts to correspond with their tech-support have led to generic "sorry for your confusion" replies), I give it 1 star. <br><br>The lack of control for such a basic function of the camera is a complete oversight on Canon's part, and a real bummer. <br><br> Thanks!
