Summary
I lost my drivers and then started a long search. The Australia base was no use but eventually found the US site - it was difficult to ascertain the correct one I downloaded everything. It works well but who knows what is now on my Mac. The product is excellent but tends to look like a PC which has been adapted to Max OS. It is not intuitive and one has to ask Ia not a nerd just and ordinary Joe User, why do I have to know how to wire a car in order to use it.. KISS keep it stupidly simple - please or didn't sell it as Mac comparable.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Having read a lot of negative comments on Canon's Scanner software, I'm happy to report that everything works just as expected for me (OSX 10.3.2, PowerBook 12" Rev B). Scans are med at full USB 2.0 speed and the PowerBook can power the Scanner even on battery without excessive battery drain. The Toolbox is highly customisable, and works well. Buttons also work and are a great timesaver. Overall I'm impressed, given some of the comments I've seen.
