Developer’s Description

Scan Web pages and capture, save, catalog, and then retrieve valid product information.

Buzzoop scans Web pages while you're window-shopping to see if there is valid product information like prices, item names, descriptions, and so on. If Buzzoop finds valid information, then it always first tries to autocapture the information and if it cannot, it presents an Alert message asking if you wish to capture information from the current page. When you confirm this option, Buzzoop will present you with its capture capability wherein you click on a "capture" button to catalog the item. Buzzoop also gives you a mechanism to retrieve the information that you have captured; that is saved/cataloged.

Version 0.9.227 features improvements in autocapture of images in Internet Explorer 7.

Great app for the Internet shopper

Pros
If you do any shopping on the internet, this app is very useful. However, as one of the earlier reviewers recommends, it certainly helps to go see the demos on their website (buzzoop.com) to understand what features are available, especially the autocapture feature. Both my wife and I now use it all the time.

Pros
I post a bunch deals on fatwallet, deals2buy and sites of their ilk....for two reasons....want let the world know that there is a deal avaialble but also so I can go back and review what I posted....It takes a lot of time and effort.....with buzzoop it is fast and Iove the social cataloging feature and not to mention the autocapture feature as mentioned in the above post, be it amazon, buy, ebay, zappos, 123inkjets, gap you name it. As they add more users this technology seems to be the end-all be-all for product cataloging/shopping comparision. Good job guys.

Pretty novel idea/application. I recommend folks go look at the demos on the buzzoop website to get acquainted with the app. I just happened to stumble on the autocapture feature when I went to buy.com I would have known about it if I had looked at their website/demos.<p>Completely eliminates the need to bookmark stuff when you're shopping online.
