BuzzFeed -- Quizzes, Video, News, and beyond for iOS

BuzzFeed's standalone app is a great way to get your fix in a sleek and self-contained app.

Pros

Main interface: When you open up the app, the main screen that you use to navigate through the BuzzFeed stories is excellent. It is very well laid out in a graphical format that displays a large image and headline for each story, so you can navigate to those that interest you with a single click. It is clean, quick, and very well designed.

Self-contained BuzzFeed: One of the largest problems with BuzzFeed is that so much social media has become clogged with stories from the website. The idea of a self-contained app is excellent, because then you can enjoy BuzzFeed when you want to, and do your best to ignore it in your social media feeds the rest of the time.

Modern design: This app really reflects modern design principles very well. It wastes very little space, and instead focuses on presenting as much content to you as possible while keeping everything clean and uncluttered. Overall, from a design point of view, this is a top-notch content providing app.

Cons

Hidden comments: In order to see the comments on the BuzzFeed stories, you have to click through to see the responses. Due to the interactive nature of this type of social content, it seems strange to hide the conversation surrounding the story.

Bottom Line

If you love BuzzFeed, then this app is for you. It is well designed, works well, and provides you with all the BuzzFeed stories that you could ever want.
