Editors’ Review
Anyone can create standard 10-up business cards in no time using the design wizard in Business Card Designer Plus, though the trial version's restrictions might leave some folks a bit cold.
The program features many generic templates, as well as those related to specific industries. Before you start designing, the program offers you the option of creating a standard-size business card or an alternative such as a folded card or CD-R label. Editing tools let you add shapes, tweak fonts, alter colors and backgrounds, and append your own graphics. Users can save their designs in the proprietary BCP format or in a few standard graphic formats, though the trial version won't let you access that latter feature.
Also, the 15-day demo seems a bit short and the application includes a watermark on printed designs. Nevertheless, small-business owners or self-employed folks with little design experience will probably find the program suitable on most counts.
